Account Director - Microsoft Identity & Secure Access

£80-90k base + Double OTE | UK-wide (Remote) | Permanent

We are a leading Microsoft Identity and Security Partner, trusted by Microsoft to design and deliver secure access, identity, and data protection programmes for some of the UK’s most recognised organisations. This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a high‑profile, growth‑led position where strategy meets sales and you will have real influence within a rapid‑growth partnership.

Opportunity

You will join a Microsoft‑aligned consultancy delivering enterprise‑scale identity, access, and data security transformation programmes. You’ll work directly alongside Microsoft sellers, Partner Development Managers and field teams to shape joint go‑to‑market plans, leverage funded plays and accelerate deals via co‑sell and marketplace channels.

Your commercial leadership will focus on the SMC and Corporate sector, building relationships and driving programmes that grow from six‑figure first engagements into long‑term, multi‑million‑pound partnerships.

Where You’ll Focus

  • Own the SMC and Corporate vertical, develop account plans and identify new opportunities.
  • Use Microsoft’s network to unlock new conversations and deliver scalable outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification and value design to SoW development, negotiation and expansion.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across Microsoft’s seller community and partner ecosystem.
  • Leverage Microsoft‑funded plays, co‑sell programmes and marketplace routes to accelerate revenue growth.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO, Risk, Transformation) to shape and deliver secure access strategies.
  • Sequence programmes from initial assessment through to full roll‑out across Microsoft Identity Solutions.
  • Deliver accurate pipeline forecasting and clear visibility on revenue performance.
  • Define and execute sector strategy – events, campaigns, GTM alignment, and account development.

What You’ll Bring

  • Established and demonstratable relationships with Microsoft SMC Solutions and Seller teams (this is an absolute must have).
  • Proven success in a commercial sales or Account Director role within a Microsoft Partner.
  • A strong understanding of the Microsoft sales model – co‑sell, solution plays, marketplace routes, and funding programmes.
  • A consultative approach to complex sales, with a focus on outcomes and value creation.
  • A track record of delivering £1m‑£2m+ annual revenue in Consulting / Professional Services.
  • Confidence engaging senior executives and translating technical strategy into commercial value.
