Overview

AI Business Process Sales Specialist – Education Industry role at Microsoft. You will drive end-to-end business transformation for strategic Higher Education customers, bringing experience managing complex, high-value relationships and leading large-scale, transformational sales engagements. You will navigate senior stakeholders across business and IT with familiarity in selling AI, CRM, ERP, and Low Code platforms, and orchestrate across internal teams, partners, and services to deliver integrated solutions in complex, matrixed environments.

Responsibilities

  • Drive connected, end-to-end business transformation solutions across multiple business units within Higher Education customers.
  • Lead all stages of the sales process, including account and opportunity planning, deal strategy, negotiation, and execution.
  • Engage with complex customer environments and guide them through decision frameworks and evaluation plans.
  • Prioritize driving AI Transformation in industry.
  • Align customer conversations with business outcomes utilizing Business Value and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to build a business case.
  • Craft and negotiate terms for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene to support business performance and planning.
  • Leverage strong existing relationships within the Higher Education sector to deliver consistent, measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in enterprise solution sales, preferably in AI, cloud, or digital transformation.
  • Experience with selling CRM and/or ERP applications including Marketing Automation, Sales Automation, Relationship Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Commerce and an understanding of how they translate into business impact and value.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
  • Broad understanding of commercial cloud offerings, ideally including Microsoft’s cloud platform, as well as competitors and related ecosystems.
