As a CO+I CE Technician Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities

  • People Management: Lead with empowerment and accountability—model strong leadership, coach for high performance, and invest in team growth. Set clear goals, enable cross-team collaboration, and support continuous learning. Build, develop, and retain diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Operations & Incident Management: Lead critical datacenter operations across electrical, mechanical, and systems infrastructure. Monitor performance using telemetry and CMMS tools, ensuring reliability and rapid issue identification. Own incident response, driving resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintenance & Technical Excellence: Oversee planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure uptime and performance. Act as a subject matter expert, guiding troubleshooting and supporting vendor activities on-site. Ensure all work is executed safely and in line with operational standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND mission critical services work/applied learning experience (e.g., high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields) OR equivalent experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Experience in a specialized area (e.g., mechanical field, electrical field, controls field) or related field.

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
