JOB PURPOSE:

The role supports the HR department through the accurate and confidential maintenance of HR records for all employees and workers. The role also includes being responsible for a wide range of other HR administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will enjoy administration and be comfortable with repetitive tasks, whilst also having the curiosity and confidence to identify opportunities for improvement, research potential solutions and see successful changes through to implementation. Whether that involves making better use of Microsoft Office, introducing more efficient processes, exploring AI tools or improving how information is managed, we are looking for someone who enjoys making things work better.

You must be able to build rapport with people across all levels of the business, so that you can effectively encourage contributions needed, through these strong relationships. You will be approachable, helpful, patient, and a genuine team player who is happy to support colleagues from across the business and get involved in a multitude of departmental and business projects.

You must demonstrate absolute integrity & discretion, prioritising the security/confidentiality of HR data at all times.

Strong IT skills are essential. The successful candidate should be confident using Microsoft Office applications and be comfortable working independently with tools such as Excel Pivot Tables, Mail Merges and database systems. An enthusiasm for learning new software and digital tools is equally important.

  • Exploring how new technology, software and AI tools can support the department and wider business.
