A Business Development Coordinator vacancy has arisen within our fast-growing company based at our site in Skegness, Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Commercial Sales and Service team.

SALARY: £28,000 - £30,000 + Performance-Based Incentives
JOB TYPE: Full-time

About the Role
Micronclean is a market leader in cleanroom solutions, supporting industries where contamination control is critical. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Coordinator who is passionate about identifying, creating and converting new business opportunities across the UK.
This is a proactive, customer-facing sales role focused on generating and developing new business opportunities. You will take ownership of outbound prospecting, engaging with potential customers, building relationships with key decision-makers and creating a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Working closely with our Business Development Managers and Marketing team, you will play a key role in expanding Micronclean’s customer base, opening doors with target accounts and contributing directly to the company’s growth ambitions.
This is a varied but firmly sales-focused role, combining proactive prospecting with exhibitions, networking, customer meetings and targeted marketing activity. You will become a visible representative of the Micronclean brand and an important contributor to our future success.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Identify, research and engage prospective customers across target markets.
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking and referrals.
- Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities, supporting their progression through the sales pipeline.
- Work closely with Business Development Managers on target accounts and growth initiatives.
- Attend exhibitions, trade shows and networking events to promote Micronclean and generate leads.
- Support customer meetings, presentations and sales activities where required.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor pipeline performance.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on lead generation campaigns and follow up enquiries.
- Provide insights on customer needs, market trends and competitor activity.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in business development, lead generation, sales or other customer-facing commercial roles.
- A strong new-business mindset and genuine enthusiasm for identifying and creating sales opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence initiating conversations with prospective customers and building relationships with decision-makers.
- Resilience and persistence when handling objections, following up prospects and managing longer sales cycles.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, organised and results-focused.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers, exhibitions and events.
What Success Looks Like:
You'll become a valued member of the UK Sales & Service team, building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, creating meaningful customer relationships and helping drive Micronclean's continued growth. You'll be visible in the market, active with customers and recognised for turning conversations into opportunities.
Full training will be provided, with an onboarding period based in our Skegness office.
