A new GMP Cleaning Team Leader vacancy has arisen within our Cleanroom Cleaning department at our customer site on Little France Drive in Edinburgh, Scotland.
LOCATION: Edinburgh, Scotland
JOB TYPE: Part Time
HOURS OF WORK: Mondays 1:30pm - 5.30pm (Hours on the first Monday of each month will be 9:00am to 5:00pm which will be additional hours)
PAY: £14.65 per hour
JOB INTRODUCTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied and providing support to the team members and liaising with the customer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Cleaning, washing walls, sweeping, emptying of litter bins, cleaning of equipment as required to keep a high audit standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Produce GDP (Good Document Practice) Compliant reports and documentation.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
- Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to the customer.
- Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to the customer.
- Attend training sessions appertaining to post.
- Carry out any duties as required.
- Liaise on a daily basis with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.
All employees are required to adhere to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.
The Candidate
Essential:
- Must have a good level of written and spoken English.
- Some experience of cleaning.
- General good health.
- Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day.
- Prepared to wear full uniform at all times.
- Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions/procedures.
- Good standard of IT literacy - Microsoft Office.
- Flexible, regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required.
Desirable:
- Experience within a similar industry.
- Team worker with a flexible approach.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Machinery skills.
