A GMP Cleaner vacancy has arisen in our fast-growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our National Team based in Stevenage.
Location: Covering nationwide (based in Stevenage area)
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm inclusive (8-hour shifts totalling 40 hours per week with 30 minutes unpaid break, depending on customer requirements)
Salary: £29,000 per annum
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments around the UK. You will be responsible for delivering GMP cleaning of all designated areas as directed, using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied. Full training and a small van will be provided for the role. There may be a requirement to work at weekends and stay overnight if required.
Role Responsibilities:
- To deliver GMP cleaning as per customer requirements.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- To assist the team leader when compiling reports.
- Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to GMP Cleaning Team Leader.
- Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning National Team Coordinator.
- To attend training sessions pertaining to the post.
- Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Team Leader/Supervisor.
All employees are required to adhere to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- Must have a good level of written and spoken English.
- General good physical health.
- Flexible approach.
- Full UK/EU manual Driving Licence.
- Prepared to always wear full uniform/PPE.
- Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP.
- Good standard of IT literacy.
Desirable:
- Experience within a similar industry.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Machinery skills.
