Job Type: Part Time
Hours of Work: Monday – Wednesday 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Thursday – Friday 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Pay: £12.61 per hour
Job Purpose: We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce GDP compliant reports and documentation.
- Cleaning in the GMP (sterile environment) and administration areas (offices & toilets).
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by following SOPs.
- Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
- Conduct regular checks of equipment and machines; report any faults or defects to the GMP Cleaning Supervisor.
- Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to the GMP Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leaders.
- Attend training sessions pertaining to the post.
- Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leaders.
- Liaise on a daily basis with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.
All employees are required to adhere to quality, compliance, environmental, health and safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.
Essential:
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- General good health.
- Reasonable fitness to stand on feet for most of the day.
- Prepared to wear full uniform at all times.
- Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP.
- Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with working instructions / procedures.
- Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office.
- Flexible regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required.
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience within a similar industry.
- Team worker with a flexible approach.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Machinery skills.
