A new GMP Cleaning Team Leader vacancy has arisen within our Cleanroom Cleaning department at our customer site in Glasgow, Scotland.
Location: WEST OF SCOTLAND SCIENCE PARK, 1 KELVIN WALKWAY, GLASGOW G20 0SP
Job Type: Part Time
Hours of Work: Monday to Wednesday 5:00pm – 9.00pm and Thursday to Friday 5:00pm to 7.30pm
Pay: £14.52 PER HOUR
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied and providing support to the team members and liaising with the customer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Cleaning, washing walls, sweeping, emptying of litter bins, cleaning of equipment as required to keep a high audit standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce GDP (Good Document Practice) Compliant reports and documentation.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- Logbook checks of team members to ensure accurate completion as required by SOPs.
- Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to the customer.
- Highlighting audits to be performed of general buildings and informing GMP Cleaning Area Manager/GMP Cleaning Coordinator.
- Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to the customer.
- Attend training sessions pertaining to post.
- Carry out any duties as required.
- Liaising between fellow departmental team leads and GMP Cleaning Coordinator.
All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.
The Candidate
Essential
- Must have a good level of written and spoken English.
- General good health.
- Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day.
- Prepared to wear full uniform at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures.
- Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office.
- Flexible, regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required.
Desirable
- Experience within a similar industry.
- Team worker with a flexible approach.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Machinery skills.
