We are opening our first office outside of Norway, and as our Sales Executive, you'll be one of the very first people through the door, helping shape how MICROMILSPEC shows up for clients in a brand new market from day one.

Company Description

Established in 2019, MICROMILSPEC is an independent watchmaker specialized in made-to-order watches for military, first responders, and special clients. Since 2024, the company has opened up its product platform to civilian customers. Originally founded in Norway, the company designs and develops its watches in Oslo, while manufacturing and assembly are handled by a network of trusted partners in Switzerland. Working closely with some of the industry's leading manufacturers and specialists, all projects are executed with technology, materials, and quality that are usually beyond the scope of most independent micro and boutique brands.

Role Description

This is a full-time, Sales Executive role based in London while also hosting and attending events in USA, Germany, France, Singapore, Switzerland and other emerging markets. The Sales Executive owns the full sales cycle: responding to inbound inquiries, qualifying and following up on leads, and converting prospective and existing customers into sales while also maintaining after sale communication. Responsiveness is an absolute must. Inquiries and follow-ups must be handled promptly and consistently. Clients in this segment expect immediate attention at every touchpoint.

The Sales Executive will build and manage relationships with an international client base, deliver product presentations, negotiate and close sales, and uphold the brand’s standards in every customer interaction. The role also supports execution of sales/marketing campaigns, maintains accurate product information across channels, and gathers customer feedback to sharpen sales strategy, working closely with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a high-quality customer experience internationally.

Qualifications

  • Immediate responsiveness: responding to inquiries and following up with prospects and clients quickly and consistently.
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of qualifying leads, managing a pipeline, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present products clearly and build rapport with a wide range of customers and prospects.
  • Excellent customer service instincts, demonstrating professionalism and a solution-oriented approach under time pressure.
  • Training support for customers or internal teams on product features and benefits.
  • Relevant commercial experience, ideally in a product-focused, high-end environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, managing multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
  • On-site availability in London and comfort collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and travels.
  • Proficiency with CRM/sales tools and standard office software; experience with marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Education: post-secondary degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Languages: multiple languages is a plus for international markets — German, Mandarin, Italian, or Spanish preferred.
