As our new Project Planning Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our Field Engineering and Programme Management teams, making sure our global customers receive a seamless, professional service from start to finish. From processing orders and scheduling engineers to keeping projects moving smoothly, you’ll play a vital part in delivering the outstanding experience Microlise is known for. What you’ll be doing
- Collaborating across departments to progress orders, installations and service activities
- Keeping internal systems up to date with accurate, timely information
- Owning the order delivery and scheduling process from beginning to end, ensuring everything meets SLA requirements
- Scheduling work for our Field Engineers, considering all necessary working parameters and reasonable adjustments
- Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information and ensuring all processes remain compliant with data protection standards
- Escalating potential risks to invoicing or SLAs in the right way, at the right time
- Taking ownership of issues related to orders, projects or scheduling, and driving them through to resolution
- Using your expertise to support successful supply chain activity
- Making sure all customers receive updates and communication within agreed timeframes
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a customer‑focused role, with strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build great relationships both internally and externally
- A target‑driven approach, with confidence working to deadlines and SLAs
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Someone calm under pressure who can thrive in a busy environment
- A self‑starter who’s adaptable, motivated and able to prioritise effectively
- Experience with order processing or scheduling would be highly advantageous
