We are looking for a passionate and positive Credit Controller to join our busy Credit Control team, ensuring invoices are paid in full and promptly in line with our agreed SLAs. You will take full ownership of your customer portfolio to understand their individual requirements and payment cycles to ensure cash flow forecasting is accurate. This will be whilst always representing yourself and the Microlise brand professionally.

If you have experience in a Credit Control function along with the ability to handle customer queries and work to KPIs, then this is the opportunity for you!
What you will be doing:
- Ownership of the ledger for a portfolio of customers, including the forward chasing of debts to ensure payments are made to terms
- Actively work towards reducing Aged Debt
- Adhere to the company's On-Stop procedure making sure it is strictly followed
- Work with relevant internal teams to ensure the timely resolution of outstanding queries
- Allocate receipts against customer accounts accurately on a daily basis
- Prepare and distribute monthly debtor statements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the external customers on your ledger
- Ensure data within the Company ERP system is accurately maintained
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience within a fast-paced credit control team and/or customer complaints role
- Demonstrable experience supporting your team to reduce aged debt and outstanding queries
- Excellent communication skills and confident to challenge where necessary
- Tenacious and target-driven, with experience working to KPI’s
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of credit control including query management
- Excellent team player, combined with the ability to work using own initiative
- Business orientated with first-class customer service skills, both internally and externally
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with intermediate Excel skills
Though not essential, it would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience in multi-currency and multi-company ledgers would be highly advantageous
- Credit Management qualification is desirable but not essential
