We provide fleet management, transport, telematics and proof-of-delivery solutions used by many of the UK's leading logistics and retail organisations, including JCB, Eddie Stobart, Carlsberg, Waitrose and Royal Mail.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Business Development Representative to help generate new business opportunities and support our sales team in winning new customers.
The Role
This is an outbound business development role focused on creating qualified sales opportunities. You'll engage decision-makers across transport, logistics and fleet-based organisations through a combination of telephone prospecting, email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and industry events. You'll work closely with our Account Executives and play a critical role in building the sales pipeline that drives business growth.

What You'll Be Doing
- Generate qualified meetings with prospective customers through outbound prospecting
- Conduct approximately 40 outbound calls per day
- Execute multi-channel outreach using phone, email and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Follow structured prospecting cadences and follow-up plans
- Qualify prospects against agreed criteria
- Attend industry events and conferences to generate opportunities and expand your network
- Join discovery meetings to support a smooth handover to the sales team
- Maintain accurate records and activity within Salesforce
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to maximise meeting quality and conversion
- Continuously refine messaging, targeting and outreach approaches
What We're Looking For
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a sales, business development, lead generation or customer-facing role
- Experience working towards targets and KPIs
- Confidence speaking with prospects over the phone
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and ask effective qualifying questions
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Resilient, self-motivated and comfortable with outbound prospecting
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tools is beneficial but not essential
