We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, playing a key role in shaping how data drives decision-making across the business. You will be at the heart of building and managing trusted, high-quality data products, enabling analytics, AI, and operational teams to unlock real value. What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations
- Creating reusable, governed data products for analytics and AI teams
- Translating business needs into structured, reliable datasets and data models
- Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of data products (from creation through to optimisation)
- Applying and monitoring data quality, validation and governance standards
- Managing metadata, lineage, data contracts and compliance requirements
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand data usage, dependencies and impact
- Ensuring data products meet quality, performance and SLA expectations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in data engineering and pipeline development
- A solid understanding of data modelling, governance and quality frameworks
- Experience working with analytics or AI-ready datasets
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured data solutions
- A proactive, ownership-led mindset with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
