We are looking for a Learning & Development Partner who will play a pivotal role in accelerating our organisational capability and driving growth! In this strategic position, you’ll design, implement and evaluate innovative learning pathways that make a measurable impact on business outcomes. As our go-to consultant for key stakeholders, you’ll champion compliance, leverage data to inform decisions, and ensure every learning initiative delivers real value. From maximising the apprenticeship levy to creating cutting-edge development programmes, you’ll help us invest in what matters most – our people!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create engaging, scalable learning experiences, using a mix of modalities, including digital simulations, microlearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), and blended learning solutions, using appropriate authoring tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Support the creation of an annual training prospectus and manage training bookings.
  • Conduct rigorous Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments to identify critical skill gaps.
  • Develop and implement a clear training strategy in collaboration with the Head of L&D.
  • Assist in creating budget plans for learning initiatives.
  • Work closely with managers and teams to identify skills gaps and learning priorities, acting as a trusted consultant.
  • Provide expert advice on learning solutions and career development pathways.
  • Manage the apprenticeship levy and monitor expenditure, ensuring optimal utilisation.
  • Oversee apprenticeship programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality standards.
  • Track and report on apprentice development and progression.
  • Translate L&D data into actionable business intelligence by producing insightful KPI dashboards and quarterly reports for senior leadership.
  • Specifically, you will robustly calculate and communicate the Return on Investment (ROI) and Value on Investment (VOI) for all strategic learning initiatives.
  • Oversee collection, analysis, and interpretation of L&D data.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS).

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a Learning and Development or similar strategic role.
  • High proficiency in end-to-end learning design, including mastery of LMS administration and digital content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and levy management.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to formulate budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Creativity in learning design.
  • Strategic thinking and planning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
