In this role, you will build key relationships to manage projects from inception to completion, helping the customer through the transition to business-as-usual including, assisting in realising the benefits and tackling any challenges head-on. Then we’d love to hear from you, get your application in now!What you will be doing:Take ownership and responsibility for completing the project according to the project plan with attention to business, financial and technical integrityManage your projects using Microlise standard processes inclusive of planning, issue management; risk management and change managementEnsure the project scope has been defined and approved by all parties before inceptionDefine the key milestones and deliverables which are used to measure project progressManage project invoicing and man-time – current and projected – in line with agreed payment schedulesResponsible for communication updates to both internal and external stakeholders. Whilst ensuring appropriate procedures and processes for reporting are adhered toResponsible for securing and allocating resources to achieving the deliverables of the projectEnsure good product and market knowledge on a continuous and proactive basisEnsure projects are successfully transitioned into the Microlise support departmentTake a proactive role in assisting customers to prepare for the implementation of projects, including providing workshops and problem diagnosis to achieve the required operations activity levelWhat we’re looking for:Demonstrable experience in a project coordination/administration role would be highly advantageousExcellent communication skills, written and verbal, and able to build first-rate working relationships, both internally and externally with customersTech savvy with a keen interest in the technology industryCalm under pressure and can handle fast-paced environmentsHighly self-motivated, adaptable to change and able to prioritise tasks effectivelyNatural enthusiasm for solving real-world problems in innovative and exceptional waysAbility to work under pressure to strict deadlines whilst prioritising own workloadProficiency in utilising and presenting information, including personal IT skillsIt would be desirable if you have:IT background with knowledge of logistics and or mobile worker terminologyKnowledge of business environments and working practiceWhy Microlise?Proudly Midlands-based, Microlise has been operating for over thirty years, and recently became a Publicly Listed Company with shares trading on the London Stock Exchange.
