Aegon is offering a Customer Contact Apprenticeship designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a customer service role in the financial services industry.

  • Learn and Grow: Receive comprehensive training and development including industry-recognised qualification (SCQF level 6 – Customer Service in Financial Services).
  • Collaborate: Work closely with your team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What’s In It For You:

  • A permanent job offer upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, on condition that you’re meeting expectations in the role too.
  • Full support throughout your qualification.
  • An enhanced pension scheme where you contribute 3% of your salary and we’ll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary.
  • A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance.
  • 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time).

What Happens Next:

The first step in our process is designed to find out more about you, your skills, and behaviours. You’ll initially be invited via email to undertake a short series of games/tasks to help us learn a bit more about you. Candidates successful at that stage will be contacted to arrange time for a screening call. If that goes well, you will be invited to interview in person at our Edinburgh office.

What we’re looking for: Maths at a National 4 level and English at a National 5 level. A passion for customer service. Good communication skills – verbal and written. A strong motivation to learn and develop.
