Join our customer\’s team as a Nuclear Power Reactor Operator – AI Trainer and help shape the future of nuclear industry learning. In this unique and influential role, you will leverage your operational expertise to develop advanced AI systems that support safer and more effective nuclear power plant operations—all from a flexible remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and articulate realistic operational scenarios, including emergency protocols, shift handovers, and control system management, reflecting actual nuclear plant experiences.
- Evaluate AI-generated materials for technical precision, procedural integrity, and strict safety compliance.
- Annotate and review nuclear operation tasks, bringing expert insight to workflow accuracy and clarity.
- Refine and advise on content prompts and evaluation frameworks used by AI systems.
- Document essential workflows, rare edge cases, and operational subtleties to enhance AI comprehension of nuclear procedures.
- Monitor and incorporate regulatory changes and evolving industry practices to keep AI training materials up to date.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience operating nuclear power reactors, including startup/shutdown, control rod monitoring, and emergency response.
- Possession of a U.S. NRC Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator license, or an international equivalent (current or previously held) is desirable, but not a must.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory standards, and plant operations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on documentation accuracy and safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in training, technical writing, or procedural documentation.
- Experience with control room simulators or nuclear training systems.
- Previous involvement in reviewing technical documentation or standard operating procedures (SOPs).
