To lead, develop, manage and evaluate the production of bids and proposals, including complex tenders delivered to non-negotiable deadlines. To ensure the business continually improves its bid capability, delivering high-quality submissions consistently and efficiently while coordinating multidisciplinary internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the elaboration of compliant Proposals following the bid process.
  • Monitors compliance with proposal submission deadlines and the quality of proposal content.
  • Manage bids and tenders as short-term projects with fixed delivery deadlines.
  • Implements Bid strategy, in close coordination with the Capture Manager.
  • Review customer technical, commercial, legal, fiscal and administrative requirements.
  • Informs and coordinates inputs to tender from Delivery, Engineering, and Corporate Areas in their specific areas of responsibility.
  • Manage subcontractors including SOWs, RFQs and back-to-back negotiations.
  • Keep the CRM system updated with progress.
  • Handover successful bids to Project Management teams.
  • Engage with clients, partners and other business units internationally, including travel when required.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the full bid and tender lifecycle.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical, commercial and contractual requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong commercial awareness.
  • High standard of written and spoken English; additional languages desirable.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to operate in complex, changing environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Project.

Education And Experience

  • Degree-level education in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in bid and proposal production.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Aviation or ATM industry experience desirable.
