Our client is looking for an M365 Developer to join their Technology team based in Midlands. The M365 Developer will participate in all aspects of software development lifecycles, which include scoping, technical design, build, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support for M365 solutions and services (Primarily SharePoint Online, Power Platform and Project Online/Project for the Web) provided to their customers.

You will also liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet the needs of customers, and will be a dynamic individual who can apply your knowledge and technical expertise to the delivery of M365 solutions in a fast-paced environment, where the rate of change and requirement for new solutions is expected to be high.

As part of this you’ll:

  • Work directly with customers throughout the entire software lifecycle of projects (define, design, develop, test, implement, maintain)
  • Provide direct technical support to users of M365 services and solutions making use of ITSM toolsets and liaising with other service management and technical teams within an ITIL framework
  • Evaluate user requests for M365 solutions to determine feasibility and technical requirements
  • Adhere to and deliver against agreed ITS SIAM processes for incident, problem and change management
  • Create and update documentation as necessary across the whole software lifecycle maintaining high standards of detail, accuracy, presentation, and quality of content.

What you’ll need to do the role:

  • High-level of knowledge around the M365 suite of applications
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Demonstrable and proven expertise with the architecture, design, development, and administration of M365 solutions (Primarily SharePoint Online, Power Platform and Project Online/Project for the Web).
  • Experience of undertaking SharePoint Online/M365 BAU activities.
  • General understanding of a Microsoft 365 Multi-Geo environment.
  • Experience in configuring Project Online solutions would be advantageous.
  • Experience of creating Power BI reports/dashboards/workspaces would be advantageous (desirable)
  • Use of Azure DevOps Pipelines (desirable)
