About the Role

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, securing, and onboarding new property management clients.

You will work closely with our New Business Manager, Sales team, and long standing developer relationships to convert opportunities into new managements.

Your day will be a mix of prospecting, meeting rental providers, conducting rental appraisals, and presenting MICM’s services with confidence and professionalism.

You will be the face of MICM for new clients and play a key role in growing our portfolio.

In this role, you will

  • Convert warm leads from our Sales and internal teams into new management listings.
  • Prospect, network, and build referral relationships to generate new business.
  • Maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, and financial planners.
  • Manage a database of potential clients and maintain disciplined follow up.
  • Attend appointments with prospective rental providers and present MICM’s services.
  • Hold open for inspections, assess applications, and prepare lease documentation when required.
  • Ensure listed properties are well presented and ready for leasing.
  • Provide monthly reporting on activity and performance against KPIs.
  • Work collaboratively with leasing, marketing, and property management teams.
  • Ensure all actions comply with the Estate Agents Act and company standards.
