Here at the Mick George Group we are looking for a Tree Surgeon/Grounds Person who isready to work with a team of perfectionists who are fully committed to their roles and have a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply today and become an integral part of our high-achieving team.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake all aspects of Tree Work (Tree Felling, Stump Grinding and Hedge Trimming).
- This role will be 60% of the time pruning, maintaining and planting new trees.
- Maintenance duties are to include both mechanical and manual operations and will cover the broad spectrum of grounds maintenance both in the summer and winter months. Duties will include but are not limited to soil cultivation grass cutting, planting trees/shrubs, bed preparation, seasonal bedding, pruning, tree surgery, road/car Park/pathway gritting/snow clearance.
- Responsibility for the Health and Safety of themselves, their work colleagues and others who may be affected by their activities, working in accordance with the companies safety procedures.
- Ensure the safe use, storage, calibration and disposal of pesticides and other similar substances.
- To perform any other duties relevant to grade which might be specified from time to time by your Supervisor.

- Commercial Grounds maintenance experience.
- Chainsaw qualification CS30, 31, 38, 39
- Must be able to use/handle tools.
- Basic Health and safety Knowledge.
- Ability to conduct own method & Risk assessments.
- Must be flexible with work hours.
