Here at the Mick George Group, we are hiring an Internal Sales Coordinator to be based at our Head Office in Huntingdon.
Location: Head Office, Huntingdon
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Role Overview: The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer service focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Day to day responsibilities include answering the phone lines to the Construction market, pricing our services, understanding what the works are and cross-selling multiple services and products. Ensuring the customer has the ultimate experience where they can, using our systems to efficiently create the quotation, send to the customer and convert to an order. The individual will be working within a team of strong sales members, all playing a key role in ensuring all enquiries and quotes are managed efficiently and orders are displayed correctly ready for delivery. The department needs a confident individual, who is willing to gain, understand and share market knowledge, be pro-active when necessary and continue to grow the market. Multi-tasking is key to managing the workload, prioritising tasks, decision making and high attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure all sales enquiries from all lead sources are dealt with in a timely, professional and informative manner.
- Qualify all sales enquiries and ensure every potential opportunity is explored and logged on the CRM.
- Effectively communicate own performance and progress against objectives set.
- Reach out to potential clients and make contact through all available channels (social media, events, email, phone calls).
- Attend site and office visits with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide pricing in line with quoting tools provided by the Group, with an eye on profit levels.
- Ensure the status of your opportunities and quotations are kept up-to-date by regular communication with customers through follow-up calls or emails, using the pipelines and dashboards.
- Focus on converting enquiries into orders and sales, through regular contact with customers, with all communication to be added in note format to the CRM.
- Build long-term relationships with Mick George.
