The Mick George Group we are looking for aCommodities Account Manager to join the team.

Location:Head Office – Huntingdon, PE29 6XU

Working Hours:Monday – Friday between site 8AM – 5PM, Occasional Saturday Work

Pay:To be discussed at Interview – Competitive

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organised person to join the team. This NEW office-based role will involve managing a portfolio of clients within the waste management and recycling sector, ensuring excellent customer service and maximising collection efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling enquiries and waste collection requests via phone and email.
  • Administer and communicate monthly pricing for clients’ recyclable materials.
  • Book and manage collections using Roadrunner and/or Elemos systems.
  • Optimise collections by coordinating full and part loads from multiple customers to maximise profit.
  • Monitor and manage non-conformances in line with company procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive client relationships.
  • Provide clients with accurate data, reports, and updates.
  • Effectively manage multiple accounts simultaneously
