Location: Mick George Head Office – Huntingdon

Working Hours: Monday – Friday between 6am and 6pm, Saturdays are as required

Role Purpose

To manage and optimize the collection, transportation, and processing of recyclable materials, ensuring efficient logistics operations in line with environmental regulations, cost-efficiency, and sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics for the recycling transactions (skips, ro-ros, aggregate bags).
  • Oversee planning and optimize routes and schedules to ensure timely collection and delivery.
  • Coordinate with waste collection teams, recycling centres and third-party haulers.
  • Monitor and analyse logistics performance using KPIs; recommend and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental and transport regulations.
  • Supervise and train logistics staff; ensure a safe working environment.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and recycling operations.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with logistics software and data.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to environmental compliance.
