Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting a Concrete Plant Batcher to join the team.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday between 7am-5pm, (Overtime Available) Saturdays as Required.
Pay: To be discussed at Interview, dependant on experience.

Job Purpose: To oversee the production of Ready Mixed Concrete and Screed in accordance with BS8500 standards, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at all times.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with:
- The Health and Safety at Work Act
- ISO 9001/14001/45001/6001 standards
- EN206 standards
- The Restrictive Trade Practices Act
- Anti-Discrimination Legislation
- All other applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Maintain and promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness on site.
Plant Operations: Operate the batching plant to company standards using defined procedures. Maintain the site, plant, buildings, and equipment in a clean, safe, and secure condition. Ensure all required technical testing is completed accurately and on time.
Customer Service & Sales: Handle customer enquiries and orders courteously, upholding the company’s professional image. Process and reconcile cash sale transactions in line with company procedures.
Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain accurate material and stock records, minimizing monthly discrepancies.
Team Supervision: Supervise staff and drivers to ensure maximum productivity while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Ensure all site visitors and contractors sign in and comply with site procedures and legal obligations.
Reporting & Communication: Promptly report any known or suspected non-conformances to the appropriate department head.
