Responsibilities
- Working on the Mick George Group fleet of HGV's, you will complete fault finds through inspections and diagnosing any required work.
- Carry out services, maintenance and repairs to the vehicles to a high standard.
- Prepare the vehicles for MOTs.
- Liaise with the Commercial Workshop Manager to ensure parts are ordered and delivered within a timely manner.
- Take responsibility for workload with maximum efficiency.
- Maintain the working environment to ensure workplace safety and equipment longevity.
- Complete all required paperwork for all work carried out on the HGV.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance qualification
- Full UK drivers licence
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on a varied fleet of HGV's
- Ability to diagnose problems effectively and carry out necessary repairs.
- Service vehicles in line with manufacturer recommendations to main dealer standard
- Fault finding using electrical diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication skills
