Senior Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor - Data Centre Construction in Surrey, Woking

MiCiM is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join our growing team, focusing on the commercial management of complex data centre projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven leader who thrives in fast-paced, technically challenging environments and wants to shape strong commercial outcomes from procurement through to final account.

This role:

Working closely with project, client, subcontractor and senior leadership teams, you’ll oversee commercial strategy, financial performance, contract administration, risk management and reporting across high-value project packages or full project portfolios.

• Leading commercial and financial management across complex construction projects
• Overseeing cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs and commercial governance
• Managing procurement strategy, tender reviews and subcontractor appointments
• Driving change control, valuations, payment processes and final account agreements
• Providing commercial leadership, mentoring and guidance to project commercial teams

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Significant commercial management experience within construction
• A strong track record managing costs, contracts, procurement and commercial risk
• Confidence leading commercial strategy, reporting and stakeholder conversations
• Excellent communication, negotiation and team leadership skills
• Experience in data centres, mission-critical, MEP, fit-out or technically complex projects would be highly advantageous
