About the Role:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting Project Managers and client-side teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll be involved in every stage of the process, from planning and documentation to quality assurance, programme management, and handover.

What You’ll Do:

  • Project Documentation: Prepare and manage Project Execution Plans (PEPs), monthly client reports, meeting minutes, and risk registers.
  • Quality & Safety: Oversee site inspections, manage permits and RAMS, and ensure compliance with HSE notifications.
  • Cost & Procurement: Monitor budgets, assist with tender coordination, and support procurement processes.
  • Programme Management: Track progress, manage long-lead items, and maintain a 4-week look-ahead schedule to keep projects on track.
  • Client Engagement: Chair meetings, liaise with stakeholders, and act as the communication hub for project teams.
  • Handover: Ensure all documentation, testing, and training are completed for a smooth transition to the client.

  • Valid SMSTS certification & good understanding of CDM regulations.
