Are you a senior commercial leader ready to shape commercial strategy across an ambitious, international mission-critical consultancy?
We are looking for a Group Commercial Executive to act as principal deputy to the Group Commercial Director and provide executive leadership across our commercial function.
This is a high-impact role with responsibility for commercial governance, financial control, contractual assurance and best practice across our UK, Ireland, Italy and Nordic entities
You’ll drive commercial performance across complex data-centre and mission-critical projects, supporting strategic bids, board-level reporting and the continued development of our commercial leadership team.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the Group commercial function across delivery, consultancy, bids and support activities.
- Deputising for the Group Commercial Director on key commercial decisions and board-level reporting.
- Owning the consolidated monthly CVR and commercial reporting cadence.
- Overseeing procurement, contract strategy, tender evaluation and business-critical contractual matters.
- Providing executive direction on commercial governance, risk, assurance and dispute resolution.
- Developing commercial capability across the team through coaching, mentoring and succession planning.
What we’re looking for
- Senior commercial leadership experience within construction, engineering, consultancy or mission-critical delivery.
- Strong knowledge of commercial strategy, governance, procurement, contracts, CVR, forecasting, WIP, cash management and reporting.
- Experience working across multiple regions, service lines or complex project environments.
- Confidence engaging with boards, senior leaders, clients, contractors, consultants and supply-chain partners.
- A collaborative, fair and commercially astute leadership style aligned with Mi Ci M’s values.
