The role

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we’re looking for a Senior Account Marketing Manager to join our accounts team.

Our SAMs are responsible for overseeing multiple high-value client accounts, delivering exceptional results and nurturing client relationships.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on project management, ensuring campaigns are innovative, effective and aligned with client objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as a strategic partner to drive business growth and success.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with client business goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, encouraging their growth and ensuring their contributions align with agency standards.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and strategic foresight.
  • Analyse campaign data to identify opportunities for optimisation and innovation, presenting actionable insights to clients.

Qualifications and experience

  • 5–7 years’ experience in senior account management or marketing roles, ideally within an integrated, brand or creative agency.
  • Experience contributing to or leading brand strategy projects, including areas such as research, positioning, propositions, messaging, brand architecture and implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience leading integrated programmes across brand, campaigns, digital, content and communications.
  • Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to connect marketing and brand activity to clients’ wider organisational and business objectives.
  • Experience managing complex, high-value accounts, including budgets, scopes, profitability, resource requirements and opportunities for sustainable account growth.
  • Confidence advising and presenting to senior stakeholders, facilitating discussions and constructively challenging client thinking where appropriate.

This role reports directly to the Executive Account Marketing Director.
