About MiChild at The Village Nursery
The Village Nursery is proudly rated as "Good" by Ofsted, has a capacity of 51 children and has been part of the MiChild Group since 2020. The nursery is located in the heart of Lees Village, surrounded by local businesses and close by to some of our sister settings. We have just had a full refurbishment, including decor, furnishings and resources for our children. Our nursery has 4 playrooms and accessible gardens from the ground floor. Two of our playrooms are for our under 2's unit, hosting a space rich in sensory-based play opportunities and baby-trained staff. Our indoor and outdoor spaces offer countless opportunities for exciting and engaging learning opportunities that best support children through their learning journeys. These spaces are meticulously planned by staff so that children can immerse themselves in learning and develop a thirst for knowledge.
The Village Nursery is situated off Lees Road on Albert Street. We are fortunate to have several local businesses around us that staff can visit on their lunch breaks to grab a fresh coffee or a tasty bite to eat. The Nursery is a 10-minute drive from Oldham Town Centre. We can also be accessed via public transport. Additionally, we have car parking facilities available for drivers.

What We're Looking For:
- Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)*
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
- Previous experiences of leading a team/room (Desirable)
