About MiChild at Oberlin Street Nursery
Oberlin Street Nursery is located in the Greenacres area of Oldham, making it easily accessible for those commuting from Oldham and surrounding areas. With good local transport links, nearby amenities, and a strong community feel, our location allows us to build strong relationships with families and be an important part of the local community. We are rated Good by Ofsted, with positive judgements across the quality of education, behaviour and personal development, and leadership and management. We have a capacity of 48 places offering full-day childcare for children from babies through preschool age (0–5 years). In recent months, our playrooms have been carefully redesigned to create bright, welcoming, and stimulating environments that inspire curiosity and learning. Each room features clearly defined learning areas for craft, construction, role-play, reading, and sensory exploration, allowing children to engage in purposeful play at their own pace.

What We’re Looking For:
- Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
**Please note this role is a full-time role for 40 hours per week**
Shift Patterns:
This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule to ensure coverage and flexibility. You will alternate between early and late shifts on a week-by-week basis.
- Early Shift: 7.30am - 4.00pm
- Late Shift: 9.30am - 6.00pm
