About MiChild at Meadow Nursery
Meadow Nursery is a vibrant, nurturing setting based on the outskirts of Blackpool town centre on Whitegate drive. With excellent public transport links and free onsite parking, we’re easy to get to whether you drive or take public transport. Our setting includes four well-equipped rooms, each tailored to a specific age group and led by a team trained specifically for that developmental stage. We support our team to feel confident within the age group they work with and support training needs. We also have spacious outdoor garden spaces that are thoughtfully separated to suit different age groups, ensuring safe and enriching outdoor play for all. Our building has a total of 3 garden spaces. We’re especially proud of our dedicated preschool room, where children prepare for their school transition together in a supportive, structured environment. About the Role
We are exceptionally excited to be recruiting for a Nursery administrator to support Meadow Nursery. This role is for 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and will help and support the nursery manager with key deadlines and the nursery management team with:
- Ensuring the safeguarding of children is given highest priority at all times
- Organising and co-ordinating all office based administrative tasks at the nursery ensuring all records and documents are maintained in full and complete at all times in line with MiChild policy and statutory requirements
- Ensuring that family system is up to date and complete at all times
- Ensuring that all staff and children files are kept up to date at all times
- Assisting with debt management
- Assisting with weekly ordering
- Assisting with parent enquiries and invoicing

What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Previous administration experience in nursery environment (Desirable)
