About MiChild at Highfield Nursery

Highfield Nursery, proudly rated “Good” by Ofsted, has a capacity of 51 children and has been part of the MiChild Family since 2020. Situated within Blackpool, close by to Blackpool Airport, we have 4 playrooms with a sensory room within our Preschool unit. We are proud of our outdoor areas and have separate baby garden and preschool garden, offering our children and staff boundless learning opportunities to engage in outdoor learning activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)
  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
  • Has experience in leading a room or supervising a team (Desirable)

**Please note this is a full-time role for 40 hours per week**

Shift Patterns: This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule to ensure coverage and flexibility. You will alternate between early and late shifts on a week-by-week basis.

  • Early Shift: 7.30am - 4.30pm
  • Middle Shifts: 8.00am - 5.00pm or 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • Late Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm

*If you're not yet Level 3 qualified, we may have alternative roles to support your development.
