About MiChild at Moorevilla Nursery
Moorevilla Nursery, proudly rated as “Good” by Ofsted, has said that children thrive in a happy and engaging environment. Knowledgeable staff support them as they participate in engaging experiences. Staff follow children's lead, which helps them stay engaged, and interactions with children are of a high quality. Moorevilla Nursery is one of our largest settings and has a capacity of 117. We have 6 rooms; 3 rooms dedicated to our youngest learners that are under two, 2 rooms for curious toddlers (2-3 years old) and a large pre-school room. The nursery is located on a beautiful one acre of land and boasts 3 large outdoor classrooms, with specifically, individually designed spaces for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Moorevilla has a strong focus on providing a welcoming family vibe and atmosphere, whether this be with new families or our MiChild Team and also has a fully refurbished Mi-Learning Lounger, which is used to facilitate in-house and external staff and family training.

What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to provide a warm, welcoming environment for children and their families, where little minds are continually inspired
- Passion for early years and keen interest in developing your EYFS knowledge
- Demonstration of safeguarding knowledge and awareness
- Participation in the planning of activities, ensuring that learning and development milestones are met
- Supportive and proactive attitude towards teamwork, working alongside the nursery staff and leadership
- Maintaining resources and equipment in the setting
- Maintaining accurate and appropriate records
- Willingness to undertake additional continued professional development (CPD)
- Focused on completing Level 2/3 early years qualification
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet the daily changing needs of the setting
Entry Requirements:
- Have documentation to evidence your Right to Work in the UK and your National Insurance Number
- You must have been a UK, EEA, or EU resident for at least the past three years to undertake this training programme. In addition, you must be able to commit to the full length of the programme, and be able to meet the programme modules through your job role.
- If you are aged 16–18 and do not have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent (GCSE grade 4/C) in Maths and English, you will be required to work towards achieving these qualifications as part of your apprenticeship.
- For those aged 19 and above, completing Maths and English (Functional Skills) is optional and not mandatory to complete your apprenticeship. However, this needs to be discussed and agreed upon your interview.
Please note this role is full time for 40 hours a week.
Shift Patterns:
- Early Shift: 7.30am -5.00pm
- Middle Shift: 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Late Shift: 9.00am-6.00pm
