About MiChild at Highfield Nursery: Highfield Nursery, proudly rated “Good” by Ofsted, has a capacity of 51 children and has been part of the MiChild Family since 2020. Situated within Blackpool, close by to Blackpool Airport, we have 4 playrooms with a sensory room within our Preschool unit. We are proud of our outdoor areas and have a separate baby garden and preschool garden, offering our children and staff boundless learning opportunities to engage in outdoor learning activities where we can become immersed in imaginative play outdoors.

What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to provide a warm, welcoming environment for children and their families, where little minds are continually inspired
- Passion for early years and keen interest in developing your EYFS knowledge
- Demonstration of safeguarding knowledge and awareness
- Participation in the planning of activities, ensuring that learning and development milestones are met
- Supportive and proactive attitude towards teamwork, working alongside the nursery staff and leadership
- Maintaining resources and equipment in the setting
- Maintaining accurate and appropriate records
- Willingness to undertake additional continued professional development (CPD)
- Focused on completing Level 2/3 early years qualification
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet the daily changing needs of the setting
Please note this is a full time role for 40 hours per week.
Shift Patterns: This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule to ensure coverage and flexibility. You will alternate between early and late shifts on a week-by-week basis.
- Early Shift: 7.30am - 4.30pm
- Middle Shift: 8.00am - 5.00pm or 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Late Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm
