About Echoes Day Nursery Echoes Day Nursery, proudly rated “Good” by Ofsted, has a capacity of 85 children and has been part of the MiChild family since 2020. Situated in the heart of Manchester City Centre, we serve a diverse variety of families with dedication and warmth. Our nursery boasts 5 spacious playrooms with a calm, nurturing feel, and a large enclosed outdoor area that enables our children and staff to explore the outdoors despite our city centre location. At Echoes, we are proud to celebrate the diversity present in our staff body and families, and we have recently been recognised by Manchester City Council for ‘Advancing Race and Equality in Early Years’.

You will need to have experience in the following:

  • Prioritising safeguarding of all children, staff and families that have access to the setting
  • Promoting a fun, high quality environment for all children in our care
  • Ensuring the welfare and learning development requirements of all children are met at all times
  • Confidence and respect of working in partnership with parents and carers
  • Undertaking a shared responsibility for the health and safety of the nursery
  • Ensuring all children are clean, loved and happy at all times
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures set out by the company
  • Awareness of all emergency and security procedures relating to the nursery
  • Taking pride in the delivery of exciting and age appropriate activities
  • Ensuring mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Being a key player and driving excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted

If you're not yet Level 2 Early Years or Level 3 Early Years qualified, we may have alternative roles to support your development.
