In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean and tidy, reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Maintenance team. Your duties include:
- Cleaning all areas of the day nursery, including toilets, kitchen, playrooms, and staff areas.
- Cleaning all surfaces of the day nursery, including floors, paintwork, tiles, and walls.
- Reporting any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas.
- Removing all bottles and recyclable materials to the relevant bin and ensuring anything recyclable is recycled.
- Ensuring that shortages do not prevent cleaning.
- Completing all high- and low-level dusting.
You must be committed to the safeguarding of all children.

Situated in the heart of Manchester City Centre, we serve a diverse variety of families with dedication and warmth. Our nursery boasts 5 spacious playrooms with a calm and nurturing feel and a large enclosed outdoor area that enables our children and staff to explore the outdoors despite being in a city-centre location. Transport & Parking: 8-minute walk from Piccadilly Station/Metrolink. During breaks, you may want to take a walk; the Vimto Park is conveniently located within 2 minutes of the nursery. Within a short distance, you can easily access a variety of shops and eateries, including SPAR and Starbucks.
