Job Description:

Cedar Springs Public Schools invites qualified substitutes to apply for the position of Floating Substitute Teacher. This is a position for the 2025-26 school year and possibly beyond.

Floating Substitute Teachers are assigned to a building in the district, in this case Cedar Springs Middle School, and are typically assigned to a classroom when other substitutes cannot be found. Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of buildings and grade levels is preferred.

PAY: $160 PER DAY THROUGH EDUSTAFF GUARANTEED DAILY WORK

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow the lesson plans of the regular classroom teacher
  • Establish effective, positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, other support staff, and administrators
