The Mental Health Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision and role modeling to our patients. The Mental Health Technician is responsible for the following:
- Orient patient to unit and program.
- Carry out teaching activities identified in the treatment plan under the supervision of the nurse in charge.
- Provide continuous patient care and assist patients in all areas.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic boundaries complying with established training program.
- Demonstrate responsibility for observation of patients at all times.
- Assist patient with activities of daily living.
- Practice universal precautions and environment safety guidelines.

Qualifications Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent. College degree a plus.
- Willing to train the right individual that has a passion for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and addiction disorders.
- Experience working with children and adolescents a plus.
Hours: 40 hours/week. Night shift (10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Must be able to work rotating weekends. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
