Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed therapist for our Intensive Outpatient Program. Our program is experiencing growth and expansion and varied shifts are available to fit individual schedules (4-10 hours days; 5 -8 hour days, etc.). This program utilizes both virtual and in-person treatment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving those with behavioral health and substance abuse issues.
Typical responsibilities include the following:
- Complete psychosocial assessment upon admission
- Case management and treatment planning
- Group, individual and family sessions
- Aftercare coordination
- Document treatment provided to patient in medical record legibly and in a timely manner
- Attend regular treatment team meetings to provide social work perspective
Michiana Behavioral Health (a UHS facility) offers respectful, dignified care to adults, children and teens experiencing emotional crisis and mental distress. Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
- A minimum of one (1) year with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, treatment and clinical assessment skills preferred.
- Licensure required. LSW, LMHCa or equivalent; LCSW, LMFT, LMHC.
- May be required to work flexible hours.
