Responsibilities
- Assisting a Senior Associate, to include preparation of Legal Reports from a precedent prepared by a Senior Associate, typing your own correspondence and communicating with the clients and other third parties throughout.
- Providing efficient and effective support, aiming to meet all targets in respect of exchange and completion deadlines.
- Attending meetings with clients where necessary and updating clients and third parties on all active matters whenever required.
- Maintaining effective communication with colleagues across the Firm, as required.
- Maintaining time recording on client matters on a daily basis in accordance with the firm's procedures.
- Managing files diligently and reviewing each regularly.
- Complying with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and/or information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of working within residential conveyancing.
- Experience of using a case management system.
- The ability to run own files with minimal supervision.
- Experience of working in a process driven environment and working to deadlines, providing excellent client service to both external and internal clients.
- Excellent organisational skills, demonstrable examples of multi-tasking and an ability to juggle competing priorities and work well under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills and proficient with Microsoft Office.
