The predicted salary is between 18.41 - 18.41 £ per hour.
The successful applicant will work in our Maintenance department, supporting the continuous improvement of all factory areas such as: health & safety, production output, environmental impact, and efficiency & productivity.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for ensuring downtime is minimized and company standards are complied with.
An awareness of health and safety must be demonstrated in the workplace at all times.
- Job specification
- Provide plant wide maintenance service, dealing with a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems including electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic
- Follow the company isolation & lock off procedure at all times
- Work to PPM systems
- Develop knowledge of the plant through training courses
- Complete all day shift work instructions in an efficient manner, filling in report books accordingly
- Ensure work is conducted effectively during factory shutdown periods – maintenance personnel will be expected to work during these times
- Monday to Friday 06.30 to 17.00
- Previous experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in electrics/mechanical skills (multi skilled electrician) – essential
- Experience with automation & three phase systems – essential
- NVQ electrical/mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage to the successful applicant
