Are you currently working within recruitment and enjoy managing candidates, filling vacancies and building relationships, but no longer want the pressure of sales targets, business development and cold calling? An established and successful recruitment business is seeking an Account Manager to join its busy and fast-paced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant, Resourcer, Delivery Consultant or Candidate Manager who wants to remain within agency recruitment but focus on delivery and account management rather than sales.
You'll be joining a lively recruitment office where the pace is fast, the workload is varied and no two days are the same. Whilst you will be working alongside consultants in a sales-driven environment, this role does not involve generating new business, cold calling or sales targets.
The successful candidate will manage existing accounts, source and engage candidates, coordinate interviews and ensure an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
The Role
- Managing recruitment campaigns across a variety of commercial, professional services and office-based vacancies.
- Building strong relationships with existing clients and acting as a key point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
- Advertising vacancies across multiple job boards, LinkedIn and social media platforms.
- Searching, sourcing and engaging candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking and database searches.
- Conducting telephone and video screening interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Managing the interview process, arranging interviews and providing feedback to both clients and candidates.
- Supporting candidates through offer management, onboarding and post-placement care.
- Building talent pools and maintaining candidate relationships for future opportunities.
- Working closely with colleagues in a busy recruitment office environment where priorities can change throughout the day.
- Ensuring excellent service levels and a positive recruitment experience for all stakeholders.
About You
- Previous experience working within a recruitment agency is essential.
- This opportunity would suit an experienced Recruitment Resourcer, Recruitment Consultant, Delivery Consultant, Candidate Manager, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Internal Recruiter, Search Consultant or Recruitment Account Manager.
- You will have strong candidate sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn, job boards and social media to attract talent.
- You will be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- You will enjoy relationship building and delivering an excellent recruitment service without the focus on sales and business development.
- You must be capable of working in a busy, fast-paced recruitment office where priorities can change quickly.
- Excellent communication and administrative skills are essential, along with the ability to write engaging and effective job advertisements.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys the delivery side of recruitment but would prefer to move away from sales, cold calling and business development activities. You will join a supportive and successful team where your focus will be account management, candidate delivery, recruitment administration and relationship building rather than revenue generation.
Please note: Previous recruitment agency experience is essential. This vacancy is not suitable for applicants without recruitment sector experience.
