Production Engineer

Production Engineer Days Only £40,000 per annum (circa) Diss, Norfolk An established manufacturing business based in Diss is seeking a Production Engineer to join its technical team. This is a day-based, senior technical role with responsibility for supporting production, improving process efficiency and driving continuous improvement across the site. The Role You will provide technical expertise across production and quality teams, ensuring that tooling, processes and production conditions are optimised to deliver consistent, high-quality output. The role will involve working closely with Team Leaders, Quality and Technical departments to identify issues, implement improvements and support long-term operational performance. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to Production and Quality teams Lead tooling and process optimisation activities Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives Support cost effectiveness and efficiency projects Mentor and provide technical guidance to production teams Monitor tooling condition and performance Work closely with Production, QA and Technical departments The Ideal Candidate You will have experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment and be comfortable working across multiple teams. A strong understanding of tooling, process control and quality systems is important. Experience within injection moulding or a similar manufacturing process would be advantageous.
