Michelle Denny Recruitment is working with a business in Diss to recruit a Customer Service Advisor / Renewals Administrator. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business in a role that offers a structured route into customer service. You’ll begin on the renewals and administration side of the team, building product knowledge and confidence behind the scenes, before moving into a full Customer Service Advisor role from September.

About the roleFor the first six weeks or so, you’ll join the business in a Renewals Administrator capacity, supporting the renewals side of the team and getting to grips with the systems, products and pace of the business. At this stage, the role is non-telephony and focused on administration and renewal quotations. During this initial period, you will work Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 5.30 pm. From September, you’ll move into the full Customer Service Advisor role. The hours are structured – 38.75 hours per week across rotating shifts starting at 8.30 am, 9.30 am or 10.30 am, Monday to Friday, with the latest finish at 7 pm. Alternate Saturdays are included (9.30 am - 4.30 pm), with a weekday off in lieu on those weeks. No Sundays.
Duties will include- Initially, as a Renewals Administrator, your role will include:
- Preparing and processing renewal quotations
- Handling related administration accurately and efficiently
- Learning systems, processes and product information
- Supporting the wider team as you build confidence in the role
- From September, as your role develops into Customer Service Advisor, your responsibilities will broaden to include:
- Speaking with customers to understand their insurance needs
- Preparing quotations and helping customers find the right solution
- Providing a high level of service and support throughout the process
- Building strong relationships and delivering a positive customer experience
Previous customer service or office-based experience would be helpful, but what matters most is that you're:
- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with people
- Organised and happy handling detail accurately
- Keen to learn and build your confidence in a structured environment
- Positive, reliable and ready to be part of a team
£26,780 per annum plus company benefits. Full training and support. Long-term career development within a growing business. Office-based role in Diss.
