Michelle Denny Recruitment Consultancy is delighted to be working with Eye Tech Engineering, a respected precision engineering company nestled on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. They’re on the lookout for a skilled CNC Turner to join their close-knit and supportive team in Eye, Suffolk.
Salary: £37,700 – £42,000 per annum (equivalent to £17.50–£19.50 per hour, negotiable based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 41.5 hours per week (including regular overtime) with a one-hour lunch break and Friday afternoons off!

What you’ll be doing:
- Setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components to spec.

- Programming and fine-tuning machine settings for optimum performance.
- Ensuring quality control throughout the machining process.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Working on both high-volume batch work and intricate, low-quantity projects.
- Collaborating with your team to enhance efficiency and process improvements.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven CNC Turning experience in a manufacturing/engineering setting.
- Solid understanding of machine set-up, operation, and maintenance.
- Accuracy, precision, and a strong eye for detail.
- Confidence using measuring instruments and reading technical drawings.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Vocational/technical training in CNC or engineering would be an advantage.
- Experience across multiple CNC machines (lathes, mills, routers).
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM programming, not essential but a distinct advantage.
