Michelle Denny Recruitment Ltd

Residential Conveyancer Diss, Norfolk Up to Β£60,000 depending on experience Permanent | Full time Whether you're already managing your own residential conveyancing caseload or you're building your experience and ready for the next step, this could be a very good opportunity to develop your career closer to home. Michelle Denny Recruitment is working with a long standing law firm in Diss to find a Residential Conveyancer to join its property team. There's flexibility around the level of appointment, so we're equally interested in hearing from experienced conveyancers and those earlier in their career who have a good grounding in residential property and are ready to develop further. You'll be joining a firm with low staff turnover, where many people have built lengthy careers and where client relationships remain an important part of how the team works. What you'll be doing: Depending on your experience, you'll manage or assist with a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases Remortgages and transfers of equity Taking matters from initial instruction through to completion Reviewing searches, title documentation and enquiries Drafting and reviewing contracts and associated documentation Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors Keeping clients informed throughout their transaction Managing deadlines and helping matters progress efficiently If you're already an experienced conveyancer, there is scope to take ownership of your own caseload and bring your experience to the wider team. If you're earlier in your career, the role offers the opportunity to build your knowledge and take on greater responsibility as your experience develops. What we're looking for: You will need some practical experience within residential conveyancing, but there isn't one fixed level we're looking for. You might be: An experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a new local opportunity A Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive Part qualified and developing towards qualification A Conveyancing Executive or experienced Paralegal ready to take on more responsibility What's important is that you already understand the residential conveyancing process, have good attention to detail and enjoy dealing with clients. You'll also need to communicate clearly and be someone who takes ownership of their work. Property transactions don't always follow a beautifully straight line, so being able to keep clients informed and matters moving is important. What's on offer: Salary up to Β£60,000 depending on experience Permanent, full time position Based in Diss, Norfolk An experienced residential property team An established local client base Low staff turnover, with many long serving employees Scope to develop your experience and responsibility over time A role that can be shaped to reflect the experience you bring If you're already running your own caseload, we'd love to hear from you. Equally, don't rule yourself out because you don't yet consider yourself a senior conveyancer. If you've built good residential property experience and are ready for your next step, let's have a conversation.
