Would you like a Manager role where you can stay close to your clients, develop your team and have a say in how the local practice grows? I'm recruiting for an accountancy firm in Diss that needs an experienced Manager to take responsibility for a varied client portfolio. This is more than a technical review position. You'll be trusted to build relationships, guide colleagues and help clients make good decisions for their businesses.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of clients and becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Reviewing accounts and other work prepared by the team.
- Advising clients and drawing on specialist colleagues when needed.
- Coaching and developing team members.
- Building local relationships and contributing to the growth of the office.
What you'll bring:
You'll be ACA or ACCA qualified, or hold an equivalent qualification, with substantial post qualified experience in an accountancy practice. You'll have managed client relationships and a team, and be comfortable combining technical oversight with hands on leadership.
What's on offer:
The salary is £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience. Benefits include 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private medical insurance, Medicash, life assurance, income protection, paid professional subscriptions and a pension with a 6% employer contribution when you contribute 5%. Plus, there's annualised hours, plus more! This is a full time, office based role in Diss.
